So we made it here in fantastic fashion. We were upgraded to Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class snooze zone, and I'm not sure how I'll ever fly coach again. On day one we were suffering from jet lag the entire time. It's not too great getting to London at 6:30 am and having to stay up pretty much all day.
We pushed through though and ended up falling to sleep in our jail cell, err... East Hotel room in South Kensington right around 8 pm.
On day one, we check out Big Ben, Westminster, etc... Abbie wanted to take a big bus tour around London. We did that and it was quite enjoyable. We really liked being able to see all of the big "tourist sites" at once.
We sat along the Thames for a bit looking at the boats go by and then decided to get on the bus.
At the end of the day we ate dinner at the Stanhope Arms on Gloucester Road and headed back towards our Easy Hotel.
The following is our first video blog. We take a look at the hotel and also take a walk to the tube station. Nothing special, just a quick look at London!

I am so jealous that you are in London...we wished we could of made it out there for a visit. Enjoy all the time you have it will go by fast. Keep us posted with lots of pictures and video. You missed a great 4th of july party, it was the best one yet. We had about 30 friends and family, and real fireworks which dad and Eric loved setting off. You guys were missed though. Can't wait to see you when you get home, take care and God Bless.

I just watched your video at work and just want to mention how much you two SUCK!!! I want to be there so bad:) Looks as beautiful as I remember. Abbie, just for the record, you are married to THE BEST American London tour guide that there is. You are going to have such a wonderul time. Man I thought cruise ship rooms were cramped, Easy Hotel better not charge much for the closet space they rent out! Love to you both and can't wait to continue living vicariously through you.
